Garnet Gemstone Cat
Garnet has a glassy appearance, often red or reddish-brown. One of the oldest stones used for decorative purposes, the name is believed to derive from "granatum", Latin for pomegranate, whose seeds its colour resembles. Associated with fire, passion and strength.
