For sale is a charming and rare piece of Heraldic Crested China from the renowned Arkinstall & Son (Arcadian) works in Stoke-on-Trent, circa 1924. This figurine is Model #4 from the famous series of 24 "Lucky Black Cats," featuring a distinctive red bow and a wide, "devilish" grin.The figurine displays the colorful coat of arms for the town of Hastings. The base is clearly marked with the official Arcadian backstamp and the original British Design Registration number: REG N° 708645.Condition Report:
- Overall: Very good antique condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration.
- Gilding: Minor wear to the gilt highlights, consistent with age.
- Crest: The Hastings crest is intact, though showing slight, natural fading to the colours.
