Up for sale is a charming and highly collectible antique crested china figurine from the renowned Arcadian Black Cat Series (Model 8). This piece features a lucky black cat with a vibrant red bow leaning against a "Cheerio from..." bottle.
- Manufacturer: Arcadian China (Arkinstall & Son, Stoke-on-Trent).
- Crest: Features the coat of arms for Woolwich, South East London.
- Retailer Mark: Includes a rare local retailer mark on the base: "Pryce & Son Ltd, The Stationers, Woolwich SE."
- Date: Backstamped with Registered Design No. 709927, dating this model to approximately 1924–1925.
- Condition: Good vintage condition. The black glaze remains glossy, and the crest and gold "Cheerio" text are well-preserved. (Note: Please see photos for precise condition; original cork is still present in the bottle neck).
- Dimensions: Approximately 7cm tall.
