Cats & Curiosities: fancy a stroll around the centre of York to see some of the cat statues plus other quirky historical features that are "hiding in plain sight"? Join Peter, Cat Gallery owner, for a 45 minute, 1.5km level walk.
This tour is accessible and is suitable for all ages. There is a brief mention of ghosts (after all, there is a ghost cat) but there is no intention to scare. The Tour visits all the cats that form part of the York Cat Hunt mini-quiz. As a result, all kids will receive a glow in the dark "Official Cat Spotter" wristband at the end of the Tour.
The activity starts and finishes at The Cat Gallery, 45 Low Petergate, YO1 7HT. Booking is essential. Scan the QR code on the Cats & Curiosities Tour listing. Scanning the code will take you to the booking platform. If a day is not showing, it means the walk is fully booked for that day, or is not running. Booking can only be made a week in advance.
