This guide from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) is aimed at veterinarians, veterinary nurses/technicians and veterinary students. Its purpose is to help understand why cats can become stressed and distressed in the many environments where veterinary care is provided and how veterinary professionals can help improve welfare by avoiding stressors and/or mitigating the effect of stressors. Contributing to this practical guide are many well-known cat experts and authors who have shared their knowledge and experience. The book has been edited by Dr Sarah Ellis and Dr Andy Sparkes.
