The St Nicholas Fair, festive street lights and enticing shop windows can make the run up to Christmas in York a magical experience. We have recently made our Christmas window. Hope you like it and if you are able to come and see it in person then so much the better!

Nala's World is the best selling paperback in our shop and below, a selection of cat toys, all of which fly out at this time of year.
Books come into their own at this time of year. Whether you know someone who wants to understand their cat better (Purr-fect English) or just read some jolly good fiction with a link to Battersea Cats & Dogs Home (Home for Christmas), you'll find it in our Book Section online.
Not everything in our shop is available online, but you can get the funky Cat Shaped Neon Light and the just published Louis Wain's Cats.
Frith Cats by Paul Jenkins make fantastic Christmas gifts. These premium bronze resin cats are sent from our York shop via the (UK) Postage for a Pound scheme.
Also in the picture above is a hand-painted wine glass, which comes in a substantial gift tube.
Leather goods have been flying out of the shop and online. Lead times are quite long, so if you are after a particular bag or purse, do order as soon as you can.
Our window wouldn't be complete without Salem, Spite and a collection of other resin black cats from Nemesis Now.
If you want a brand new Winstanley cat then you'll have to come to the shop. We have a good selection currently, but not enough to be offering them online. We will have some vintage Winstanley's and Mike Hinton's that we'll be listing over the coming days in our Vintage Collectables section.
